Would anyone know if there are any new liabilities or customs/VAT costs a person must endure when sending and receiving expensive football programmes to and from the EU now? Has anything actually changed since 1st January in this respect?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

As I understand it, VAT has to be paid on all foreign purchases. Affected listings now state this.

VAT will have to be paid and there may well be a service charge from the carrier - royal mail or whoever.

Thanks. Does VAT have to be paid on items designated as 'printed paper' though, so tickets, programmes... etc? Would anyone have a link online to where the thresholds and liabilities are listed please?

Football programmes are zero rated for VAT. eBay initially slapped VAT on non-UK auctions/BIN on 1st January but have now fixed it. They are also working on sorting the same issue with books, which are also VAT free.
