I have a Bristol City programme from the 1920s and wondered if it has any value?

Sid, when blowing up the image it looks like 2nd April which could indicate v Leeds Utd 1920/21 season...if it's from the 20's.

We need confirmation of that date though.

It is the 2nd April. After closer inspection there is no evidence that it is from the 1920s - it was handed to me with some other 1920s objects so I assumed in was the same.
The league table shows Bristol City top of the league near the end of the season.
Also look like there is a page missing from centre therefore probably worthless.

Bristol City finished 3rd in the league for the 20/21 season and with the date confirmed as 2nd April it does possibly point towards Leeds being the opposition. I wouldn't necessarily assume it's worthless.

If you can get the league table clearer, I could work out which season it is. It's too blurred when I blow it up to see each team name.

If it's Division II and Crystal Palace aren't in it, then it's 20/1 or earlier, or 25/6 or later.

Does it not say the opponents in the narrative on the page headed Bristol City Official Programme? Usually Clubs say a bit about their opponents.

Agree Pete so it may point towards a reserve issue as Bristol City 1st team played away on 2nd April 1923

Yes, away to Aberdare Athletic. You don't have that programme, I suppose? Smile

These were part of the 1920s bundle - I presume similar age to the Bristol City programme.
