I think the man sitting by the vase of flowers is a famous sportsman, but could be totally wrong. Football or cricket would be my guess. Does anyone recognise him? Perhaps l need to go to spec savers! Thanks for any help.

l still think l know this mans face from somewhere, might not be sport?

Thanks sellsell, as Pete said it’s not the face of Brylcream , Dennis Compton. Apologies to the man by the daffodils, but Dennis was more suave. By all accounts a brilliant footballer and a genius as a cricketer.

I sent the image to a customer of mine who lives just outside Morpeth, he thinks it could be these guys at a reunion. Two of them are from Morpeth.
