Infoman - There are plenty of places to stay overnight - whether its in Derby, Stoke, Uttoxeter or Stafford - thats probably your best bet as arriving 12.15 by train would be leaving it a little late.

Problem is I can't find any places in Stafford for under fifty quid a night
Which would approx same cost as driving up.

I wanted to attend the Leeds fair on february 21,but we are at home to
WBA on that day

Thank you though for the kind thought.

Am staying overnight in Stafford area myself on Saturday night if you want to meet up for a wee swally?
If you google "cheap bed and breakfast Stafford" you'll get plenty of places for about the £25 to £30 mark. Am still trying to find a pub in the near vicinity - 30 mile mark - that's got reasonable rates, and that'll do me. Otherwise, one of these below...
B&B's I found in Stafford itelf last night were
Fairfield (ST17 4LP) £25 per night, tel 01785 252854;
Wyndale (ST16 3LQ) £27 per night, tel 01785 223069; and
Cedarwood (ST17 0DS) tel 01785 662981.
The code for Stafford Ranger's ground is ST16 3BX so they all seem to be within reasonable distance.
