I have an album page signed by the M T K Hougric team.

I think this may be from when they played Portsmouth.

Can anyone confirm the match date as I cannot find the fixture or perhaps it was a friendly against another club.

Thanks, Martin

They played at Pompey on 28.11.1956, part of MTK's European tour in which 3 players are alleged to have defected - though it was later claimed nobody defected from MTK (who included Hidegkuti in their ranks) whereas Puskas, then of Honved, did defect.

MTK also known as Red Banner.

Ah Red Banner, that makes sense.

Many thanks Pete

Yes, I researched this earlier as I have a photo of the MTK team getting on a plane on my website.

And here are the Red Banner players on their way home. It was a long tour, playing 15 games, winning 9, and losing & drawing 3 each.

Red Banner (M T K Hougric) x 15 autographs from the Pompey match including Hidegkuti on the top edge.

I also have another album page of the Sparta Rotterdam team from the match v Pompey on 13th November 1956.

Hi there, I'd be interested in these MTK autographs if they're available. Thanks in advance.
