Newbie - introduction

Morning all

First post just to introduce myself to the forum. Recently found my way back into collecting thanks to a lockdown loft clearance and the discovery of what was left of my old collection in a dark corner.

Stirling Albion are my team (i think there maybe one or two of us on the forum) and ill have about a modest 1500 programmes dating back to 1949 when the club were just four years old.

My prized possessions however are the original programme and tickets for the Albions tour of Japan in 1966, the first British club to do so and a tour that saw games against AEK Athens, the Iranian national team, a Japan select and the Japanese national team.......im not sure ill ever see the Albion involved in something like that again!

Anyway, looking forward to learning a lot more and speaking with you guys. Having had a look at some of the collections on here, ive a fair bit to go?

I second that, welcome back to the collecting fold

By the way, its not about how much money you have got to spend, or how many 1000's of items ect ect ect, it is about collecting what YOU feel is interesting to you, be it modern current items or stuff from 100 years ago or both!

Some folks judge everyone by what they have got-but just like in the school yard there is always someone bigger than you!.

Enjoy it better a second time around, sounds like you have some great items already!
