Been given 2 postcards depicting Wednesday scenes/photo's.

Photo 1 is of 3 Wednesday players from 1952 ish. They are Vin Kenny, Jack Bannister or George Davies, and Norman Curtis.

Photo 2 has Jackie Sewell shaking hands with an unknown????

Any help appreciated on identifying him.

If anyone has any idea on value as well would be appreciated.

Both are in very good condition and blank on the reverse, apart from the normal "postcard" wording.

Cheers

Jim

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that it's Jimmy Logie of Arsenal.

hi Jim the team in the centre spot handshake seems to be Arsenal? .Arsenal at that time, although Red ,white sleeve shirts ,had blue hoop stockings, and they do look darker in the picture.
If it was, no8s for the Gunners in that era were Logie ,Oakes,Lishman.
I will check through some old photos to see if there are anymore.
Cheers
KEN
PS It looks like the Owls are back 2 wins on the bounce ,and Peterboro the next game Smile
