I've started to spread the word on our forum.

Would be really good, if I had a list of sellers and a couple of lines of what they are bringing, over the next couple of months

Regards Sharrow

Am pleased to report all the regular traders have confirmed they'll be attending again this year.
It's a spacious venue so if anyone else wishes to take a stand please let me know: phone 0754-845396 or email [email protected]

Disappointed that the fair has been switched to a Monday as it may affect the attendance. But will be there with
1500 60s programmes £1 each
500 1950s individually priced
Some non- league and Scottish clubs
European matches involving English clubs
A few badges and cards
So a real assortment
I was located at the end of the hall in a huge alcove, lovely space, but I am aware that not everyone got round to me
Incidentally I visit Nantwich town civic centre on a Thursday morning table top and have a few programmes there. I welcome any wants you may have.

Have a good Christmas everyone and a peaceful, happy 2020.

Traditionally the Sheffield Christmas Fair has always been staged during the break between Christmas and the New Year. It has always been one of the best attended Fairs.
The venue for the Sheffield Fair was originally booked for Sunday December 29.
The date was switched to Monday December 30, because the EFL decided to play a full fixture list on the Sunday, whereas the Premier League's games are predominantly on the Saturday.
Friday December 27 was not a realistic option because the Mancunia Fair is on that date.

I shall again be having a stand at the Sheffield Fair.
Now in my seventh year as a dealer, I try to cover all aspects of second-hand programme collecting: Big Matches (Internationals, Finals and Semis); A decent range from virtually all League clubs in England and Scotland plus a few from Ireland (although with a slight bias for West Country clubs as I am based in Plymouth).
I shall also have a wide range of over 400 English and Scottish Non-League Clubs programmes with me, including v League Clubs in the FA Cup and in Friendlies, (again with a slight bias for West Country Clubs); plus a range of Testimonial Matches, Reserve and Youth team programmes and Teamsheets.
Because I travel widely throughout the country attending Fairs, often buying more programmes than I sell, I am constantly replenishing my stock, so collectors often find something on my stand that they are looking for!
If any collectors wish me to bring any specific items to this Fair, please contact me by email on or (preferably) before Saturday 28 December (as I shall be driving up from Plymouth on the Sunday): [email protected]. Or phone 07543-845396.
WILL BE BUYING ON THE DAY: CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL OR PHONE

Looking forward o tomorrow in the spacious venue. I have assembled over 1500 1960s programmes @ £1 each, clubs from all over the country but a lot of northern clubs.
Over 500 1950s ,again a good spread and priced accordingly.
A box of Scottish clubs 1960s onwards
Some football AB & C cards £1 each
A few bits and pieces.
I was located at the fireplace end of the room, to the right as you entered next to Gordon's stall and I hope to be in the same place this time.
Lots to choose from so look forward to a great day out and happy hunting for you,

Every good wish for the new year,

BOB BROWN BEAUDOG

My thanks to all the traders (17 in total) and collectors (107 in total) who supported the Sheffield Fair yesterday to make it a sucess despite the need to switch the event from Sunday to Monday (which I appreciate may have been a back-to-work day for many) when the EFL arranged a full fixture list for the Sunday.

An enjoyable day out and thanks to Gordon for organising the event. Not a great day for selling but chatted to a lot of collectors and made a few contacts, sharing stories and that is a large part of it. Thank you Sheffield council for making the access to the venue more difficult with all the road alterations and I now have an intimate knowledge of The Park Interchange road system.
Happy new year to everyone and hope to see some of you at Nantwich table top sale on a Thursday morning.
