Has anybody got any?
I'm trying to collect ONE per season as far back as I can go, but only have two or three pre-war ones.
They seem to be like hen's teeth!

Wow, thank you. That would be great!

Just checked, and I have the following:
1920-21
1921-22
1928-29
1938-39 (late added edit!)
1943-44 onwards

Would appreciate any scans - or purchases! - to fill gaps.

Thanks for that BisphamSeasider.
Any chance you might please tell me how many pages (inc front and back cover)? I'd guess at 20.
And dimensions?
Sorry, I'm aiming to get a set of cards made up showing Town programmes through the ages and need this info for the back of each one.
Cheers in advance!

Sorry, yes - got the 1938-39.
You can see mine HERE.

I'm busy re-vamping this particular section of my website.

No problem.

You are correct with 20 pages.

Dimensions are 188mm in height by 166mm in width.

I'll measure the other one shortly.

Should be a good set of cards.

I would like to do the same for Blackpool but I am struggling with some of the covers from the early 1920s.

Join the club! Wink
Actually, it's not that bad for me - I'm really looking for images of 1920s, 1935-36, 1940-41, 1941-42, 1942-43 (Wartime League North) and then I can set about having the cards made up.

But I am still after BUYING 'homes' from 1942-43 backwards, other than the years indicated in my earlier post.

I have 40/1, 41/42 & 42/43 issues against Halifax although i won't be able to send scans until i return from Rome early next week, i have a 41/42 scan on file although not the best quality, from memory they are the same or very similar 4-page issues from 40/41 to 44/45 for Huddersfield

Thanks 1980Cossie. Appreciate that.
I rather guessed that they would all be similar over the wartime period.

Rome, eh?
You lucky chap!
My favourite city - been there more times than London!
Off to Sorrento myself for a week on Saturday; can't wait. Smile

Many thanks, CNSOBU.
Here's the scan that, for some reason, you could not upload.

there`s a few pre war huddersfields on my website 10footballs.com

the 27/28`s are no doubt untypical for that season as they were cup souvenir issues with a special cover

36/37 v arsenal 5.9.36 doesn't have the season on the front. the same cover was used for the sunderland millwall cup semi final

41/42 v Gateshead 15.11.41 & 42/43 v Middlesbrough 31.10.42 are both 4 pagers with covers as shown by 1980cossie

Thanks for the link.
I've had a look - that's a super website that you have there.
However, the 1940s programmes that you include do not show the front cover and so they are not of any use for my purposes.
You are right about the 1927/28 programmes being untypical. I have the Burnley one myself, but these are housed in special card covers rather than the more usual thick blue paper with artwork footballers.
The 1936/37 might prove useful, thank you.

The hunt goes on... Wink
