Following on from MUM1's thread about old newspaper reports there is a huge amount of them you can read below. All are about Rovers but I imagine most of you will find one about your team if they have ever played us.
Cheers, Jamie.

Those cuttings are a brilliant read, right back to my earliest Eastville days in the 1950's, especially the reports of Rovers' never-to-be forgotten 4-0 home FA Cup win over Manchester United's famous Busby Babes on January 7, 1956. I can still remember flashes from that game, standing in the Boys Enclosure on the Muller Road Bank terraces as a 9-year-old, cheering madly as the goals from Alfie Biggs (2), Barrie Meyer and Geoff Bradford found the net!!!
The cuttings of Rovers' other very famous win, the 8-2 away Third Division victory at Brighton (managed by Brian Clough) on December 1, 1973 were especially poinant this week as Alan Warboys and Bruce Bannister ('Smash & Grab) last Thursday made a 500-mile round trip from Yorkshire to attend the funeral of Lindsay Parsons, the left back in the 73/74 promotion team.
