As far as we are aware there was no issue for the 2 65/66 Leeds aways, nor the 67/68 Partizan v Leeds, a newspaper type programme was issued for the 68/69 Standard - Leeds game

Hope this helps

There is certainly a Frem v Chelsea programme which has only come up once in 25 years and that was at Sportingold and made £3500.

Many thanks for all the replies.

A bit of a long shot but does anyone have a copy of the Frem v Chelsea programme and could post a scan of the front cover and team page.

Yours hoping.

Although you never listed it, there were no programmes for the 2 matches in Hungary during 1964-5 when Manchester United played there in the Semi-Final at the Nep Stadium on 6th June[60,000 attended] and in the Semi-Final Playoff on the 16th June[90,000 attended].

[I have a ticket for the first match and Nep Stadion Newspapers covering both games] Wave

Indeed no issue is known of regarding the two 64/65 Ferencváros - Man Utd matches, although it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if one had actually been issued for the first match - there were issues for international matches that month and year (which wasn't always the case) and the Man Utd fixture would certainly have been a big draw.

Matt
I think 50 odd years later SOMETHING would have turned up by now and especially by you! but it appears not and in this day and age, with all the hi tech that is available it would be so easy to scan and getit on ebay.

But as you have pointed out to me a number of times, the powers that controlled football in Hungary were erratic at best and infuriating otherwise, so yes something was produced for an International but not a club game.

Perhaps as they were a communist set up back then, there was no need to produce and sell for profits perhaps, there was a newspaper and people could read the teams on the day and the results and report afterwards, all conjecture but who really knows?.
