Hi All,

Are there any collectors out there willing and able to purchase a 1923 FA Cup final programme in very good condition? This is the 'White Horse' final, the first at Wembley, one which was contested by Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United... price to be discussed via phone or PM.

Bet there are no too many who have seen one of these before and I wonder how many have still survived-still where there is one......

What struck me was that they allowed just an hour to drive (may have even been horse-drawn) from central London to get to Wembley and find their seats. And then find another 125,000 spectators all trying to get in . Did they ever get to see the match?

That is a very good point, I would imagine that there was complete chaos at the gates and in the surrounding areas....
Some images from the 1923 newspaper report I have

Never knew the horse in the "White Horse Final" was grey.

This wonderful photo (a 1964 agency reprint) is still available on my website should anybody fancy it. Bolton's David Jack (right) and keeper Dick Pym stand wondering what on Earth's going on.

This reprint was done to commemorate West Ham's appearance in the 1964 Final, some 41 years after their previous appearance. I had two other 64 reprints in this batch but they are now sold. PM me if interested please.
