Hi,
I noticed on ebay the above "Official Teamsheet" for sale.
I assume a full programme was not printed?
The Teamsheet is a single-sheet, with the price of 40p printed on it.
The Forest Home programme of that year sold for 6p, so why was a single-sheet produced and sold for almost 7 times that amount?

Sounds like Sunday team sheet. Price would include admission. Hope this helps.

I remembered Everton had to do one for same season in FA Cup tie v West Brom at Goodison. it was played on a sunday and there was a law in place at that time saying admission prices to be charged on sunday for any football matches in competitive league or cup games. They got round it by issuing team sheets that had to be bought for i think it was 10p for Everton's v West Brom on that day. The actual programme that season was only 7p they were allowed to sell or charge for anything other than drinks and food on sunday football back in early 70s. It worked i think there was 53,000 inside goodison who witnessed a...... 0-0 draw.

What "bluenose" states is correct but......

In answer to "gable - ender" I would not assume a programme was not produced (input needed from a forest supporter)

because the same season in the FAC both programme & teamsheets were produced for the game v pompey....

The Forest v Man City FA Cup 4th Rd game wasa Sunday game with both an official programme and Admission Teamsheet issued:

As stated by others above the Teamsheet was 'sold' to get around the law on charging admission on a Sunday.

73/4 Cambridge v Oldham (?) was the first Sunday game, wasn't it? Only ever seen the programme for that one (white cover as opposed to CU's usual amber cover) but never seen or heard mention a teamsheet.

The Coventry v Derby FAC game has a programme and at least three different coloured teamsheets dependent upon which part of the ground the spectator was entering.

A programme was issued for the game. The teamsheet was just for admission as it was a Sunday game.
