The owner of Leicester City Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has been confirmed as one of those who died in the helicopter crash at the King Power stadium at the weekend. As owners go he was one of the best not only for the football club but for the Leicester community as a whole giving donations to others in the area including the local children's hospital.
Thoughts also go out to the others who died in the crash

A very sad loss.

My thoughts go to all the families involved and to Leicester City and the supporters.

He obviously touched a lot of people in a kind and positive way including the world of football.

RIP

A tragic loss to Leicester City and football in general.

In this era where many of our clubs have foreign owners, he was the one that stood out from the rest.
Leicester wasn't a plaything to him, nor an investment to make money down the line, but a club that he obviously loved and took to his heart.
Lovely things being said about him today, but the best one I have heard was also the simplest too. "He was one of us."

RIP Vichai
