Can anyone help me with this?
I collect programmes from games played on 21st April 1956 - you might be able to work out my age!
I have all but one of the league games (missing single sheet Crewe v Chesterfield - name your price) and about seventy others - Reserves, non league, Scottish, friendlies etc. What I'm after is a list of fixtures for non League games played on 21st April 1956. Any information on fixtures in the following leagues on that date would be appreciated:
Athenian League
Corinthian League
Delphian League
Isthmian League
Midland League
Birmingham & District League
North Eastern League
Lancs Combination
Midland League
Central Alliance
Southern League
Northern League
Eastern Counties League
and any others!

Bedford Town reserves beat Headington United Reserves on this day, in the first leg of the Metropolitan League Challenge Cup Final, there was a crowd of 2,500 for that match.

In the Southern League, Bedford Town drew 2-2 at Barry Town on that date.

I assume you are aware that the Scottish Cup Final was played on this day. I have copies of a number of pages from the 'Sports Argus' newspaper for that day. If you let me know your e-mail address I can send you copies of the pages I have which has results and reports from many leagues. The back page is attached in part above from Atletico.

Thanks to everyone for the helpful replies. For clarity I have full details of all Football League and Scottish games as well as all Central League and Football Combination games. Its the non league stuff I'm after - though you have filled several gaps for me.
