You may be thinking of BREEDON which was the publishers name. They issued hardback books which covered histories of various individual clubs. For example the book produced for Boro was 'MIDDLESBROUGH A COMPLETE RECORD 1876 - 1989'. The 416 page book is full of statistics and info etc.
