Same principle for me again this week. I only get to the library twice a week so now I will not be in again til next week.... Sadly some of us are oldtimers who hate smart farts and stuff..

I really hope the details ARENT up in the next day or so as I will miss week one.

Hope all is ok sharrow.

Afternoon Lads, apologies for the delay, its took me a bit longer to come up with this year's format.

The Competition

This season we have 32 entries.

2 Conferences of 16 teams.

Southern Softies
Grumpypants
Five and In
James73
Martino
PompeyGaz
Supermono
cfcmartin
Shotsman
Flackwelllad
Saintclarkie

Dinky
Gkb
Sharrowblade
Atletico
greatbarrwolf
Karb
Tartan Tyne Army
NeilP
Wrexham

CNSOBU

The Rules

1. Predict the scores for the Eight Fixtures each week

2. Highlight one fixture for double points

3. Three points for the correct score, one point for the correct result.

4. The league competition is over 30 Rounds.

5. After 20 rounds, the bottom four will be relegated from the competition.

6. After 30 rounds, we will proceed to the play-offs, the Conference winners will automatically proceed to their conference final. Teams placed 2nd and 3rd will receive a bye. the 4th to 7th placed teams face each other in a knockout and the winners of those games continue to meet the 2nd and 3rd Teams, eventually they will meet the conference winners in the conference final to decide the North and South Champions. Champions to meet in the Grand Final.

7. Tables to appear every Monday

Two New Rules please read carefully

The Golden Boot Rule.

Teams are to predict a player from the Top 4 Divisions or the Scottish Premier, to earn extra points for goals scored in a particular month.

No Team can choose the same player more than once in the season.

For example: This would be fine
Sept: Mane (Liverpool)
Oct: Sterling (Manchester City)
Nov: Hazard (Chelsea)
Dec: Kane (Spurs)
Jan: Brown (Celtic)
feb: Lukaku (Man Utd)
Mar: Sharp (Sheffield United)

Players should nominate their chosen scorer for the month on the first fixtures that month. Goalscorers cannot be changed until the following month. Even if injury and suspensions come up. So be lucky.

For each goal scored by your nominated scorer you'll get an extra bonus point.

Number of fixtures per month:
Sept: 3
oct: 4
Nov: 4
Dec: 7
Jan: 4
Feb: 4
Mar: 4

So if you fancy aguero or Salah to bang in 20 goals in December, hold them back till then.

The 'Oh, Oh I forgot rule'

Due to life circumstances, sometimes its not always practical to be near a computer during the week or if you put it off until later, because of the shock that EastEnders might have somebody attractive in it, its easy to forget. many a time I've been sat watching the pigeons flying about Bramall lane, when I've suddenly remembered what with getting the daughter to gym, taking one of the lads to football, I've not remembered to put the predictions in.

So each team will be allowed if they wish to be awarded the average score of the week if they have forgotten to post, twice a season.

All fixtures to be predicted, for the coming week to be posted each monday night

A query Sharrow.

On the Golden Boot rule, is it just goals based around the predictor league weekends that count or do midweek fixtures including European ties etc count to the total as well?
