After many months of no E Bay insertion fees I have just received the following offering for August.

"Pay nothing to list this month, then it's the normal final value fee plus 35p when your item sells.". Plus Pay Pal fees as well.

So no insertion fee but they whack on the same amount if the item sells!

Like many others I object to paying insertion fes however they are levied and also a final value fee.

Anyone else had this offer.

I read about this a few weeks ago on Money Saving Expert, but my August offer is the usual 100 free listings per day without the 35p charge.

Thats is a naughty move by Ebay. They really are driving people with lower price items away from the site.

I had a similar thing a couple of years ago with Ebay when out of the blue my free listings suddenly ended.
When I queried it with them, I was told that their offers regarding listings usually last for a maximum of six months. I suppose it's to "suck you in."
As I am now a business seller on Ebay, I don't have those issues now, but completely empathise with any non business sellers that get hit by Ebay when the offers end, as you definitely get used to them.
