Well done Wolves - great achievement with 3 games to go.

Play offs are going to be tough for us - got the 3 teams above to play to retain a slot in the Play-Offs - Middlesbrough; Fulham and Villa.

Villa and Fulham are safe and fighting for automatic promotion, whilst ourselves and Middlesbrough have quite a few teams within striking distance.

The beauty of the lower leagues - it goes right down to the wire.

Their badges are always corkers too.
I think our own Footiebadgebloke on here is their designer.

Well played the Wolves!
Very sensible colours they play in.

Great to see Wolves back. Watching them win the FA Cup in 1960 , with that dynamic little winger , Norman Deeley, scoring two , first got me interested in football. Remember , we only had one live match each season. There was actually quite a large contingent of Wolves fans on Merseyside ( that’s if you include Ellesmere Port ) during the 1950s and 60s. I think it was because of their great mananager ,Stan Cullis ( he was from the Port) and the Car industry links with the area. Quite a few workers from the Midlands moved to Ellesmere Port. All we need now is the likes of Preston N E and , in the not too distant future, those fantastic tangerine shirts of Blackpool gracing the Premier League Clap

I'm happy to see Wolves return to the top flight.
I always loved my many visits to Molineux, a proper old football ground.

The Championship never fails to deliver and the last few games will be brilliant to watch unless you are involved.
With the second automatic place between Cardiff, Fulham and Villa, that leaves seven teams fighting for the last two play off spots.

Good luck to Fishy & Sharrow. I hope you both make it.

Cheers Paul but only one of us can make it.................

Went to our away game at Wolves - a bit of a strange place to put away fans (lower tier along one side) but nevertheless, a good ground and a cracking playing surface.

Wolves fully deserved to go up.

I'd love to see Millwall manage to upset everyone and get into the Premier League. They've been on a gret run and deserve a play-off shot, as do Fulham. At the same time, I'd rather Villa or Fulham go up so that the league isn't as strong come next season.

cheers Dave, we have had a great season, no matter what happens. Neil Harris has done a great job, with all due respect they are not the most attractive team but they play to their strengths, they are difficult to beat (they got lucky at the weekend) We just lack a little quality up front, but we are far more entertaining to watch than we used to be, our neighbours like to remind us our squad is made up of League 1 players and we are a pub team but they have proved that they can compete with anyone in the Championship.

Wolves and Fulham are the best two sides I've seen this season, in fairness they should be given their budgets, but I have a lot of admiration this season for Cardiff. They've been dismissed all season, and they've hung in there. Kept winning despite Fulham's relentless chase.

Again whether you like Warnock or not he's good at what he does, they too play to their strengths and it looks like they will probably get automatic.

No problem Sharrow.

Completely agree about Warnock by the way.
Excellent at what he does and says it how it is.
Loved his rant about the Wolves boss last week, although I also understood how he had got carried away in the moment.

I read Warnock's autobiography last year. A really good read.

Totally agree Sharrow - having listened to the match and then watched the highlights on iFollow, if it wasn't for Jordan Archer in goal we'd have lost - maybe quite heavily.

The team may not be attractive but the supporters are.......................... Very Happy

May I take this opportunity to wish you well on Friday evening this week. I hope you win 8-0! No disrespect to Fulham but that would help Cardiff enormously. Very Happy

Thank you - your loyalty is noted Very Happy

Live on Sky - expect to see Fulham have a lot of possession (as is usual for our opponents).

8-0 may be a little more than we could dream about - we haven't scored more than 2 since the thriller v Leeds on Jan 20th.

1-0 would suit me, and you, just fine........ to Millwall that is!
