I appreciate that the case may still be open but I am baffled by the 'lack of evidence' regarding cabgate. Stinks of one rule for one and one for another, surely cctv would have caught something? Also smacks of the time I tried to report my wailet stolen but was informed politely by Barcelona police that it had to be reported 'lost'.
Rant over, I wonder whether we would have all been treated the same way, had we decided to allegedly 'borrow' a cab.....

I am never surprised by what modern players deem acceptable as they appear to live by whatever rules they want to.

The thing that surprised me with this incident was the involvement of Gareth Barry and Johnny Evans who have always seemed pretty well grounded and good professionals.

Talk Sport were ripping them to pieces yesterday morning with Joey Barton and Vinnie Jones both making stupid comments (No surprise there!)
Barton "couldn't see what they had done wrong" while Jones claimed "it was brilliant" and went on to say "it's the cabbies fault, what else did he expect?"

Back in the day, any mid season "bonding" break would not involve a trip to Barcelona, but maybe a trip to the races (although that wasn't covered in glory last year when a lower league team threw piss over the punters below)

I feel sympathy for the Baggies fans.
Seven points adrift and staring relegation in the face, their "stars" are rolling home at 5.30am in a stolen taxi 36 hours before an FA Cup tie.

The club is a joke. Pulis was kept on too long, he came in and did a job that was needed at the time but should have gone at the end of last season.

Pardew being appointed stinks of jobs for the boys given his mate Nicky Hammond is there in charge of player recruitment. That fantastic department not only signed Robson-Kanu but gave him a new deal, poor poor signing and not the only one. Hammond needs to follow the Chairman and Chief Exec out the door holding hands with his mate Alan as they go.

Who comes in next god knows but we need to start preparing for life in the Champ next season but please not 'Arry or Mark Hughes as the bookies seem to be listing for us.

Time for change and a new fresh impetus, clear the over paid prima donnas and get hungry players in.

As for the 4 clowns in the cab, words fail me but a couple of them were surprising names when it came out. It seems the trip was arranged before we played Liverpool in the cup so obviously went there thinking we had a chance of winning didn't we Shake

The fact Pardew came out and said that the Christmas party had been cancelled and this was the first chance to socialise with the squad speaks volumes about the trip.

I see that Philippe Coutinho's new home in Barcelona was broken into a few days ago.

Have all of the West Brom players accounted for their whereabouts? Laughing
