Off to Rome in a few months - anybody know of any good football memorabilia shops/stalls worth visiting on my free day?

Any advice appreciated

Cheers John

There is a massive Sunday market that sells everything including Antiques. I found any items co was interested in pricey.. lots of badges photos and tickets but not many programmes. Football magazines in the 1960s were 10 eutosveach.

There are a bunch of second hand stalls surrounding the small park area where Obelisco di Dogali is located (near the main train station).

Stalls mainly sell books, antiques and old newspapers and postcards. You might get lucky there (and I’m not referring to the mucky videos that every other stall seems to sell Laughing )

And in case you’re interested...

The AS Roma store in Via del Corso also has a small (free) museum in the basement.

There’s a small (pay) international football museum in Via Merulana

No stadium tours available for the Stadio Olimpico - but the Olympic Park (Foro Italico) in which it’s located is worth a look. Some fabulous architecture including a running track surrounding by 50 marble statues, which you can just usually go in and wonder around.
