The fair, which is Scotland's longest running fair - and up until this year the only one - will take place on November 12th at the Social Club, Beechwood Park, between 11am and 1.30pm. All the usual suspects will be there on the stalls, entrance is free as ever, and it's a really cracking day out.

It's a free weekend for SPL teams, and Premier League in England too if anyone wants to make the trip up. We certainly increased our usual attendance last year holding it on the same weekend and hope to do so again this year.

Just a wee reminder, that Scotland's longest running programme fair is just over a month away now. Usual suspects manning the stalls, so you know you're going to get good items at non dealer's prices...what could be better?

I'll also be having our all singing, all dancing, brand new Programme and Memorabilia Hut open on the day. We have a superb selection of current season Scottish non league - especially in the Scottish Cup - thousands of other programmes (obviously with a Scottish bias) scarves, tickets, shirts, great badge selection, a veritable library of football books, and just about everything else you could possibly want. Memorabilia from pre war to date.

Just a week to go now to the Auchinleck Talbot Programme Fair.

Always a great, friendly, day out.

Obviously the stallholders will have a more that slight Scottish bias to the wares on sale, but that's no bad thing, there's some cracking stuff north of the Border.

If you want to have a half time pint - we're open from 11an until 1.30pm - then sit down in the front bar of our social club (cheap beer!) and marvel at the memorabilia on display there from the club - match worn Junior Cup Final and International shirts, old photos, cups and trophies, etc etc.

There will be the usual stallholders on the day(they come back year after year) and our Programme and Memorabilia Hut will also be open on the day. Hope to see you there.

There will also be one stallholder there selling a large collection of Ayr United homes for charity.

Looking forward to it very much myself now Eck. It's an important part of the Talbot's calendar year now and it's great to meet those - especially those who travel quite some distance to come - who come every year.

Think we'll probably have our largest attendance yet if all the Rangers collectors who have expressed an interest do come along. Excellent advertising on your FB websites btw.

We will be having a charity stall this year. Some folk may remember I posted a piece about an Ayr United fan who lost his life in a car accident in 1990. His family will be down trying to sell folders of (absolutely pristine condition) of Ayr United homes and aways from the early 1970s onwards. All the money raised will go to their chosen charity, and they haven't been charged for the stall as it's always nice to be able to do something for a good cause with programmes.

If any Forum members are coming, please do pop into the ATFC Programme hut on the day and say hello, always nice to put a face to a nom de plume!

For anybody coming from the Glasgwow area to the Auchinleck Talbot FC Programme and Memorabilia Fair tomorrow the A76 between Mauchline and Auchinleck is shut all weekend. There is a diversion at Mauchline through Catrine which brings you out at Auchinleck, but folk should maybe give themselves an extra 10 minutes, but at that time of the morning the traffic won't be bad anyway.

One of these years I'm going to make it to this. If only it had been last weekend. Maybe next year.
