All the years I've been collecting, I've never seen a 74/5 or 75/6 home issue for Derby reserves in the Central League.

Certainly doesn't mean none were issued but I wondered if anyone on here had any examples of same?

Hi Derby, I am assured this is a 74/5 Derby reserves against the Blades, just a small sheet of paper no date on, I couldn't even tell when it was played as I can't find the details anywhere (lol)

Correct me if I am wrong but was this not the days of the Newspaper issues? Would the reserves be covered in there?

All those players were on Derby's payroll in season 74/5 - it would have to be very late in the season, though, as Roy Mac spent most of that season in the treatment room, his deputy Peter Daniel winning the club's Player of the Year award.

Did the Blades reserves visit the BBG in March, April or May 1975?

This is what I have from 1974-5 at Derby County v MUFC Reserves.

Large A4 Sheet but it states
"late team changes"

so perhaps a last minute team sheet besides maybe a "regular" one??, as that can only be my explanation for such a wording perhaps???

I would expect it to be very late on, I can't find any record of the fixture in any programme so May would be a good call.

With regards to Leslie's version of Manchester United's visit it is the same as mine, its just that I cropped my image.

The Blades adopted the 'late team changes' on their single sheet reserves, all of the 75-6 and 76-7 season issues had this title.

On a further note some collectors have doubts regarding these as an official programme, as they state late team changes rather than programme. Middlesbrough collectors appear to be on the constant look out for their anglo Scottish Cup at Bramall Lane for the issue marked 'programme'. Not quite sure why, obviously they were both issued at the game on the day.

I would assume it's for completeness. It's the same as the collectors who required both programmes with different covers for the games at Boro during the 2008/09 season.
