Hi all,

Hope you're all having nice Friday evenings.

Don't know if there are any Spurs collectors on here that can help with this question, but does anyone know where I could find a list of Spurs first team home and away games (league, cup and friendlies) from 1970/71 to 1989/90? And also which of them didn't have programmes issued for?

I've recently gotten hold of a book called Tottenham Programme Guide 1946-2010, and it's not as helpful as I'd hoped it'd be as it only lists home games.

Plus, straight away I can see it's inconclusive as the 70/71 season has missed out the Arsenal home game at the end of the season - which doesn't fill me with a lot of hope for it.

It has also rusty staples, but that's a subject for a different thread!

Also, just to save any PMs, I'm not looking at buying any programmes at this time - just looking for this info.

Even if there's a website somewhere, then that would be handy.

Thanks!

Woody

Does this help fella?

http://www.topspurs.com/thfc-1970s.htm

It provides lists of Spurs first team home and away games (league, cup and friendlies) but unfortunately doesn't provide any details for programmes.

Navigate to the 80' and other decades by using the 'Spurs in the League' tab
Thumbs Up

I have the book that you also have Woody and agree, it's not the best.

Another better one I have is called Away the Spurs which covers post war through to mid nineties and is really good, but obviously only away games.

Hi Five and In,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I've since seen mention of that book, it sounds good and I'm keeping my eye out for on ebay.

Does it turn up very often do you know? Or is it quite rare?

I don't suppose you know of any definite non-issues between 70/71 and 89/90? That website that was recommended on this thread is really good, but it's not been updated from 76/77 onwards.

Cheers!

I paid about £20 for my copy about a year ago Woody.
None on Ebay at present, but they do appear from time to time.

Regarding the other years, I don't know of any publications.

Just when I think I know what I require, suddenly an unknown one crops up, so I'd love for a definitive list to be out there.

OK, thanks for your help and advice. I'll keep an eye out on ebay for a copy, and will slowly build up a list of what's out there.

Cheers.
