As threatened on another thread here's a new thread to showcase weird, unusual memorabilia that perhaps doesn't fit into other categories.

I'll start off with a kitschy 1980s Liverpool ceramic plate thing

I'll see your pennant thingy.........

A little bit lazy nicking this pic from ebay, but I can't be bothered to take a photo and upload it.
I have a couple of these Euro 2004 pennants.

Run of the mill you may say.

But they are 100% embroidered and a work of real beauty

The group stage one with 4 teams crests on it is stunning, take my word for it!!!

............I'll raise you a Geoff Hurst Royal Doulton 'toby' jug. One of very few things I have that has actually genuinely gone up in value in a relatively short time

I also have the matching Bobby Moore one, and would love to have the money to buy similar ones featuring Matthews, Shankly and Keegan

Longstanding members of this forum might remember this.

It is a genuine original circa 1967 plastic duffle bag. Found unsold in the attic of a seaside gift shop in Rhyl, it was mint and never used, even with the original manufacturers sales tag on it. Seaside Mark (good chap) kindly sold it to me, and I love it for it's kitch appeal

This beauty was keenly won by me on ebay, it holds fond memories, as I had the same bag as a young schoolboy in the late 1970s. Of course mine fell to bits and was long ago chucked, but I fondly remembered it, and just once over the years this one appeared on ebay and I just had to win it! The 70's white kit with diagonal sash was my absolute first love, and this bag carried the style perfectly. Just love it (and again its in cracking condition)

I'll finish for today with something a bit more weird. A bicycle pennant. Some think it's 1930s, I'm more inclined to think late 40s or 50s. They were sold in the supporters club shop back in the day and would have looked great on a pole flying in the breeze off the back of your bike.

Strangely this particular one isn't all that rare. Quite a stash of them turned up about 15 years ago and anyone that wanted one didn't have to pay the earth to get one. Again probably a 'back of the shop' situation where they never sold for decades until they were discovered and suddenly were 'antique'!

On the Palace theme a neighbour bought me this when on holiday about 20 years ago. I never had the heart to ditch it. He'd probably get a game now with Benteke injured.

Awww Pete, that was so thoughtful of him/her, they even had your name put on there mate.

How could you even think of ditching the poor fella?!

Very Happy

PS. That's what Tomas Brolin would have looked like had he learned to put the fork down.

It could be a Palace pennant if you rearranged the letters to C.R.A.P. Wink
