Does anyone know the colour of the print and paper for this game? I know it is rare and have not seen any copies to my knowledge but with the wealth of experience on the forum someone may be able to give more details. Many thanks.

It looks like one sold on Ebay this morning thfcbasil, although the image is pretty basic.

It's one that I don't have in my collection either.

Hi, Yes I bought it but really have no idea if that is original. if it is then it is a massive bargain as i am sure it has been sold for into the hundreds. A chance worth taking for so little expenditure. I have rarely seen it and cannot remember what they look like regarding colour of the paper and print. I cannot even recall seeing copies so have no real idea what i have got. Any further info greatly appreciated, Cliff.

I have just checked my "Away the Spurs" book which details all Tottenham post war away programmes.
The match is mentioned in the listings, but unfortunately there is no image.

Hopefully somebody else can provide one.

Odds almost certainly on a copy but have not seen any of those. Can anyone confirm what the original actually looks like?

Update as I now have the programme. Four pages all in blue print on glossy paper, somewhat battered and bruised as folded at least twice at some point. Still no idea if original but hopeful as it is not the size of photocopy paper. Any further info most welcome.

A friend who has a wonderful collection has sent me pictures of the originals that have sold, he keeps scans if he does not have the programme. The fact he has not got it shows the rarity. They would appear to be the same as mine. Blue print on a white background on glossy paper. The shine from the camera indicates the paper appears glossy. That and the size not being that of photocopy paper makes me believe it may actually be a fantastic bargain. Does anyone know the amount they have fetched when available? Thanks.

I too keep pictures of things I'll never own. I would have taken this off ebay dated 7/8/2016. Not sure if that helps.

Also my records show one sold for around £390 at an auction dated March 2013, Anyone able to find out what auctions were dated then?

Hi, That one is a fake although bought in good faith by the chap I know. Not sure how much he paid or if he got his money back. It is totally different from the originals. I have now seen three different scans all of which are as the one displayed by Wdy. Many thanks for your research I also found that one on what it is worth. Still wondering what any have gone for in the last three or four years.

Hi, I would imagine any ticket to be as rare if not rarer than the programme. You seldom see genuine programmes and they do, or did, fetch in the region of £300 plus. Never seen a ticket for the game, hope that helps.
