Southampton tour 1901

I hope one of you may be able to help.
I have just acquired an old book which contains some images of teams who attended matches in Holland in 1900-01
In the album are two English teams Surrey Wanderers and Southampton FC.
Does anyone have any details regarding any tour I think it is en Haag?
Once I receive the album I will share what I have but I think it may be something special and contains a very rare plate of the 1901 Southampton side.

A little search reveals 6-2 win for Southampton against Den Haag
Was this though their first ever match abroad as the listing suggests as such.
