LOL!!!!!! Laughing Laughing

Yes Nick's 'Stanley' match badges were superb again this year, a big favourite of mine too Martin, really hope they do them again next year.

If Blackpool don't go up, the Seasiders owe us Fourth Division minnows one of their lovely match badges too, which I was gutted not to be adding to the collection this season.

Lastly, not a League Two badge, but after years of fruitless searching, I finally managed to find a classic Golly last week with Newport County coloured ball, so was delighted ...

So another season ends (a week earlier than one had hoped), and some more nice badges added to my collection. Let's hope the League Two match badges continues next season, thank you to everyone that helps me with getting badges and the information fellow members provide. Without you, my collection wouldn't be has vast. Role on August.

Cheers Kyle, I love these match badge threads on here, really enjoy seeing all the interesting and quirky issues the guys post.

I have another 12 to post for this season, but won't be back home until Tues - and I'll still be waiting on a few more from Dave after that as well to hopefully complete the season.
With County not issuing match badges this season, I thought I'd be looking at only a few, but I seem to have hoovered up more this season than any other thanks mainly to Dave & our Russian pal Nadja.

Your lads were very unlucky last night Kyle after showing great character in both legs.
A thunderbolt like that in the 95th minute was the most wretched luck, those tend to fly into the stand nine times out of ten.

All four teams in the L2 play-offs can hold their heads high, they all went for it from the off unlike the cagey Championship p/offs, and produced four absolutely brilliant games to watch.

Your lads, along with Luton, Exeter and Blackpool did L2 proud mate.
You were a great advert for our level.

Plus the consolation prize is you get to share company with Martin & me on the L2 Badge thread for another year buddy!
So not all bad!

Very Happy Thumbs Up Very Happy

My latest acquisitions courtesy of Dave & Nadja, I don't think I'm finished for this season yet either (76 so far) ...

As consolation prizes go, that one is pretty priceless Laughing

Promotion is overated, the L1 badge thread is for losers, all the cool kids hang out on the L2 badge thread. Clap

In all seriousness, the L2 thread has been great this year ( thanks guys) and am looking forward to what badge gems (or horrors) are in store for us all in L2 next year.

Too right Martin, I've heard the L1 Badge Thread is for dorks and squares, I wouldn't want to be seen dead over there, not with my cool street cred.

Somebody told me they're still wearing "Frankie Says" tee-shirts too.

Smile

Thumbs Up

My final post of the 2016/17 thread, all wrapped up now with a few more from trusty Dave.

I thought this season was going to sparse pickings with County no longer issuing, but have surprisingly amassed 82 badges in all, which I'm very pleased with.

Here's to 2017/18!

Thumbs Up

Not only have we got the tee shirt, we got the trophy. Top of the league 33 minutes all season. As a few have said, some great badges in League two and new friend made. As Pompey have not been in League for a while, which teams match badges do i need to look out for in the new season. Chris

I think we were only out of the bottom two for 29 days in the entire season too Chris.

Nowhere near as impressive as Pompey's 33 minutes mind, but still quite a feat I felt.

I remember when Bristol Rovers went down the other year, they were only in the bottom two for something like the last three minutes of the season.

This arrived this morning and I have to say I am impressed with the quality of it. Was put off with buying one because I didn't like the concept but after seeing one in the flesh, I have to say I'm over the moon with it.

They're nice in the flesh aren't they mate, my scans really do them an injustice.

I think they're great value for what is basically the price of a pint.
I'm really pleased with my season's stash of them, and Dave has been great accommodating my whims, fair play.
