talking to a friend about the surnames of players and he asked me if I could think of anyone who had a name that was the same or almost the same as that of a job or trade. Having told him about Alf Saggermaker, who played for stoke City about 1890, only kidding, I thought of Peter Baker , the Spurs full back of the double era. Any more contributions?

Peter Lorimer

My other offering is slightly dubious
