Just uploaded 2 items with around 10 images from a former United player and England man who was selected for this tour just visit www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterunitedman1/ and click on any images to download. These original ex player items are very seldom seen.

Those were the days England went to Turin and thumped Italy 4-0 in front of 85,000!

8 of the Italian starting X1 that played England that day, all Torino players, were killed less than 12 months later in early May 1949 in the Superga air disaster on their return from Lisbon after playing Benfica in a Friendly.
