Are we talking about the guy who manages to list without a photograph?
I thought that E Bay would not allow that but obviously it is possible.

If we are talking about the same seller, I took a punt with some offers on some Pompey Reserves; conditions were not too accurate but nothing too serious.

Thanks very much. I have also seen Reds v Blues pre season trial matches and Racing Club Bruxcelles.

Always wanted a ticket from Pompey's FAC 5th Round match against Newport County at Fratton in 1948/49 (12/02/49).

Would pay a decent price if anyone had one?

I am not a collector of match tickets but I am curious as to whether or not collectors are bothered if the tickets are for the home/away end if you know what I mean?

Wouldn't matter a jot to me Dave, in fact I'd likely buy both!

I buy many tickets from the same game if they're different colours or styles mate - but where in the ground they are isn't important at all.

Cheers for that littlwiggy, I have always had a soft spot for Newport as my Grandad was from Usk. Long gone are the wonderful excursions into Europe. Did you ever get the chance to watch them in Europe?

Usk eh, that's only a stone's throw away Dave.
Very nice area.
I saw Chubby Brown at the Stardust Club there once, and made the fatal mistake of drunkenly heckling him.

Very Happy

Yes, 80/1 our season in Europe was my first season watching the County mate, the green Carl Zeiss ticket on my Flickr site is mine from that evening.

I still don't know how we didn't win that game, and am still convinced to this day that one or two of those overhead kicks off the line were in.

Sadly it was all downhill from there.
