Hi

I've not posted on here for a couple of years so thought I'd give it another go.

I collect Oxford United programmes and currently collect programmes from 1960 - present day and have around 4000 in my collection. My collection consists of League, Cup, Friendlies/Testimonials, Postponed Games, Minor Cups, Legends Games, Reserve Team & Youth Team.

Below is a list of my current wants, I'd be very interested if anyone has copies that they would be willing to sell

After a good couple of weeks where I've been able to obtain a decent amount from my wants list (also miss out on 3 on ebay) I've updated my wants list. If anyone can help at all with any of them it would be much appreciated.

I don't think I have any spare, any that I have would have been put on eBay. Which ones are you looking for I'll keep an eye out for them.

a snip at £225.

I spotted that just after it went on.

It is the only league or cup game from 1962-present day that I need apart from a couple of postponed games. It's a programme I'd love to add to my collection but that price is definitely putting me off buying this particular one especially at buy it now

No it's Robert Greenwood Cossie on the forum. He is a collector who appears to be selling up. His details are on the bottom of the listing. In fairness it's obviously very rare. Anyone selling up would want the best price they could get for their programmes. I guess he paid a good price for it as he does pay good money for what he needed.
At £250'ebay would straight away take £25 then paypal another £10. Which means if he sold on eBay he would get £215 max.
You know how rare it is you know what you would like to pay for it contact him he can only say no.

Get it bought,cost me £275 to complete my Halifax 60s wants.

I've now removed the programme from ebay to sell to Richard (Aldo1996) for £160 in an out of ebay deal.

I'm just selling a few spares at the moment, i had two of the 63/64 Oxford programme in the collection and will be listing some more spares on ebay when i get chance.

Nice one Aldo,good to see people prepared to pay over the odds for wanted items.I went to considerable time/trouble to find someones want on here and they then baulked at the £10 asking price which barely covered my cost-put me off trying to help.My most needed now is 55/6 Halifax v Derby £200 offered.

I had chance to buy one 3 or 4 years ago for £100 but wasn't prepared to pay that for it then, I've not seen it since so while I had the money I thought it was worth it. I've been quite lucky with getting programmes for good prices recently so paying a little bit more for one doesn't seem so bad.

With this particular programme in Nov/Dec last year I emailed Halifax and they put me in contact with Andrew Pinfield and I had posted on the Halifax fans forum but unfortunately neither of those proved successful.

Hi Richard, i posted your programme out today with next day special delivery.

It's a good job Andrew Pinfield didn't have one in stock at the time or you may have had to remortgage the house or worse to pay for it Laughing
