Lovely!!

I look at the badge section most days on eBay, never seen any of these on there.

Yep. Haven't seen the Stoke design for this season yet, which usually takes some beating, but these Swansea corporates are a very smart stylish design, and official!

Just won another batch of badges with nadja, including a Sunderland one, which is nice as I haven't been able to get a match badge covering our game up there in years!

Wiggy - Seen our cup draw, we got Bolton away (nothing there badgewise usually), will deffo be pestering Dave from Brum!

I've just won Nadja's 'Newport v Mansfield' badge - well I say won, I was the only bidder, lol.

Pleased to add another of those to the stash.
They're very nice productions.

County have drawn Liverpool away - should they beat Plymouth in a replay which I doubt they will, we have a rich history of blowing these plum ties unfortunately - if the miracle does happen though, there'll be about thirty badges for that between what Duncan issues for us, Liverpool's sellers, Dave-from-Brum, our pal Nadja, plus any other eBay sellers.

I refuse to get excited until the replay is done though, I still remember us blowing Man United at home by losing a replay to Colchester in 1979!

Would you go to Anfield if Newport make it through Wiggy? You'd be in dreamland, more badge stalls than you can shake a stick at!

Absolutely.

Plymouth must still be hot favourites though given our respective league positions mate.

That's the reality of it sadly.

You know your team better than anyone on here, so I'll take your word for it.
Both teams are going to be massively motivated with that tie as the reward for success (not least because of the huge share of receipts from Anfield to the victors)

Nothing against Argyle, but very best of luck. Easy

We haven't got great history with Argyle in the cup either.
Last time we played them, two John Aldridge goals had us leading 1-2 at Home Park, before a last-minute penalty from a certain Tommy Tynan earned them a replay.

A goal six mins from time won Argyle a dour replay at Somerton, and the rest is history as they say - they famously went all the way to semis from there!

When Carlisle played Liverpool in the League Cup in 2015, I only found two types of badges (as pictured), never seen any others but I could be wrong.

Both of those would have come in four different colourways Kyle, Although it is very hard to get all the colourways unless you can track down the one stallholder who keeps all the 'sets'

A big ebay seller of the first design is fy7reds
If you are into collecting the different colourways then might be worth sending an ebay message to see if they have an spares knocking about

Not yet, and we don't play there till I think Feb or March.
Agree they are usually amongst the very best, with real effort in the design, as you would imagine, almost none ever make it to ebay etc as they are too good to resell

No probs
I'm going to see Palace play at Hull this weekend, no idea what if anything there is badge-wise there - not seen anything 'surface' match badges.

Which is odd as they've done match badges every season there for the last decade

But then there is a fair bit of fan unrest there with the owner etc, so maybe the chap that did them has taken a back seat for now

We shall see

Cheers FBB, no change to previous seasons then. Rarely get blown away by the design, but they are enamel and fair play to anyone who makes the effort shelling out to produce them and standing out in all weathers to sell them

Hull away set of 4

The 4th badge in the set in away teams colours (in this case red and blue) is the rare one

Very nice Dorking.
Nice colours too, apart from that blue thing.

Smile

It's always a chuffer when you get the rare one as well isn't it.
