Too bloody right.

You know, there was one Vase game where only 27 spectators attended. 27!
Hell, Rufus Martin-Cheek gets more people than that photographing his Ferrari when he turns up for training.

By his own admission, he has only played 3 games in the last 2 years but, hell, so what. He's got the wheels, hasn't he?

These non-league players car-sharing a 10 year old Ford Kia, well, what sort of impression does that give our Far East masters, eh?

A big Thumbs Up to the club shop at Walsall. I couldn't (wouldn't) go to the Walsall v Grimsby game but wanted a programme.

I emailed the club and they sent me a copy free of charge Shocked Shocked .

For the 1st time since the war (apart from a couple of games in 1946/7 season because of a printers strike) Blackpool did not issue a programme for the EFL fixture against Cheltenham.

This was partly due to the anticipated very low attendance and partly due to the current situation at the club with fans boycotting games and not buying any form of merchandise.

Many cost cutting measures have been introduced this season and the club have not produced fixtures cards as they have for as long as I can remember, and they no longer produce the nice glossy menu for the corporate areas.

Furthermore this seasons programme has been reduced to 32 pages.

Although there is not much to be happy about with the running of Blackpool FC at the moment, I do like the reduced size programme and at the reduced price of £2.

32 pages is absolutely fine to include all relevant match details and latest club information.

I would presume that there was still a teamsheet at Blackpool? Which for the die hard collectors would take the place of a programme for the fixture?

Sorry to go off-topic, just to say that Gateshead have gone down a similar road to Blackpool this season - reduced the size to A5, slimmed down to 28 pages, and reduced the price to £2 (from £3). It still does the job required.

As someone who gets a set of pompey programmes bound each season for the club collection of bound programmes, I would welcome a reduction in the size of our programme. They are too thick to be done in one volume, and have to be done in three.
As for the EFT, I went to our game at Yeovil which sold out of programmes before kick off, due to a larger than expected crowd on the night.
Not sure what PFC will do for the mouthwatering home games with (no disrespect to) Reading under 23's and Bristol
Rovers.
On another note, our reserves have entered a Premier under 21 competition. We beat Southend in round one in a game played at havant and waterlooville,s ground. No programmes but the two team sheets handed to the referee had been photo copied and were on sale for 10p. We have Barnsley in the next round and who ever wins, will be in a group with Everton, Norwich and Wolves. The games are then played on a home and away basis. If pompey get through, I would be greatful if any one goes to the games and can help with what ever is on offer at the games as they may be s bit far for even me to go to.
I can help if any one needs what ever is done at the pompey home games

Missed this from a while back.

Yes there was a team sheet but I would have expected these to be available at the turnstiles in the absence of a programme but they were only available in reception.

Got the Port Vale v Derby issue today.

16 pages for £2. Decent enough issue but missing one thing a programme should surely have - the names of the players in the visiting team. Even a squad listing at a push.

Nope, absolutely nothing. Not even a blank space.

Where there would, presumably, have been the opposition lineup/squad (had anyone contacted DCFC/had DCFC supplied one) is a price list for entry to Vale Park this season. Which would set back an adult either £22 or £23 for any game.

Outrageous - no wonder Vale Park always looks like a morgue on the TV highlights.
Why not half it to £11 and get twice the number of people in?

Port Vale Attendances

http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/porv.htm

Holds just under 20 000 seated . 75% Empty

Wonder what percentage is Seniors/Juveniles/Toddlers etc that probably pay less anyway.
