I see its not just me then.

I dunno, I am pretty new to this forum and dont feel I can dictate what is said or not but I am finding this particular member utterly infuriating.

I am guessing he is very young and possibly inexperienced but if he really has NO idea what someone might look for in a job lot of programmes, does he actually collect programmes at all ?? He must know what he would look for in a job lot.

It is all rather mystifying and I suppose one answer would be not to read the threads but onevery other board I know, there are rules against spamming and arguably, this is spamming of the highest order.

Personallyy Id be looking for a cheap price, as there would probably be only a couple in there that i actually wanted, so no more than 20 or 30p per item ie £2 - £3 max for 10 as i might only actually want 2 or 3 of them.
Besides that some kind of comman factor, same season, same opponent. For example all 2004/05 season or all Wolves v Man Utd.
Nothing else really diiferent to what Id look for in a single programme on top of that.

I look for high quality cup final programmes, tickets, books and magazines. Within traveling distance of stafford would result in an even better offer.

FAO eighteen74

I think he is merely looking for us all to give him tips on how to make money out of football programmes, firstly thats not what we/the forum is here for, and secondly it's a buyers market at the minute, if you think you can readily make money on programmes at the minute then you are mistaken. I'm currently usign the downturn in trade to revamp my 'business' and buying bits of stock every now and then, but I'm not sharing any info with reds4ever until he at least contributes to this community rather than just trying to take !

Ditto here - it's becoming mind numbingly banal, and it's take, take, take - as was evident from his 2nd or 3rd posting. There's absolutely nothing to stop anybody getting hold of dealer's catalogues and reading them, the same as most folk do to get a feel for prices. There's also endless dealer's websites on here where he could do the same.

Well I'm going to list a job lot of 1000-1500 programmes on fee bay on Thursday.......I honestly can't be bothered to count them all but there will be about 10 boxes full of domestic programmes from the 70's through to last season. There will be a few duplicates but not many, a pretty even split of league and non league, condition ranges from good to mint. Teams that feature heavily are;

Arsenal
Boston Town and Utd
Kettering
Leeds Utd 200+
Palace 300+
Stamford
Grantham
Spalding

I think every club from the league is covered with at least 1 programme from the last 30+ years.Basically I've way too much stuff and I need a clear out.

If anyone want to save me a listing fee and make a reasonable offer, remembering its collection only, PM with offers around 100 quid.

Good work Craig. I think he had been given more than enough warnings and tips on how to integrate, he decided to ignore them all. Maybe he can now stick to selling old records

Tell me if I’m missing something here but why has he been banned Confused

How quick are people to jump on someone once they think they have found a target, It’s the internet FFS, If you don’t like a members post’s/thread then simply don’t open one or read them !!!

I also felt it was harsh to ban him.Slightly annoying but harmless i thought. At least he had some banter to offer rather than the free valuations and opportunity to sell that some people only register for.
