Search to see if a copy has sold on ebay recently, failing that view a few dealers catalogues, or check everyones wants list, find one that you have and someone needs and PM them for an offer, simple !! |

Programme Monthly publish a list of "Sensible Offers" as follows. It also states that "These prices are the lowest standard fixed prices from leading dealers sales cataogues"
£20 - 1945/46
£13 - 1946/47
£12 - 1947/48
£10 - 1948/49
£9 - 1949/50
£8 - 1950/51
£7 - 1951/52
£6 - 1952/53
£5 - 1953/54, 1954/55, 1955/56
£4 - 1956/57, 1957/58
£3 - 1958/59, 1959/60
£2 - 1960`s
£1 - 1970`s onwards
Obviously this does not take into account special games
Hope this helps a bit _________________ Many Thanks

I'd say that half those prices for poor condition is about right. Equally you might be entitled to expect up to a 50% hike for a superb quality programme from the late 40s and early 50s - pristine condition.
I think if you were to offer me a programme from (say) 1949 at around £10 that would be reasonable. If it were in a poor condition I would offer you around £5 but, equally if it were in excellent condition £15 is not unreasonable. |

Ive only been collecting for a few months but here is the way I see it.
The price of a programme is like judging the length of a rubber band. Just as you figure it out you learn that it is stretchy.
The way I see it the programmes value is based on the following factors.
The age
Obviously the older programmes are worth more. However this does not always follow, see next point.
The print run
The more copies of a programme printed the less it is worth.
For example the 1st Leg of the 2007 League Cup semi Final between Wycombe and Chelsea can be bought from a dealer for between £8 and £30. The second leg between Chelsea and Wycombe can be bought for between £5 and £10. The reason is that the first leg was played at Adams park in front of 10,000 people while the secod leg was played at Stamford Bridge in front of 40,000 people
The event
A special match is always going to be worth more. For example, 14 Aug 1993 Carlisle V Wycombe Wanderers is worth an estimated £10 since it was their first game in the league. 17th Aug 1993 Leyton Orient V Wycombe Wanderers is worth about £1
The condition
Obviously a programme in mint condition is worth more
Who is collecting it
Obviously, if no one wants it then you wont sell it. I would suspect a Manchester United programme might be worth more than a Wymondham Ladies FC Programme
Im really sorry that I cant help you more. _________________ Many Thanks
