Home Farm sel V Everton played at Dalymount Park 6th may 1951 was a first team friendly Everton won 4 1 Cummins ,Parker Hickson 2 this game was one of the many times Everton played in Ireland over the years and they had Irish players in O Neill ,Clinton Cummins, Farrell Eglington

Yes your right Healing that match was 1953
I had two programmes in front of me while posting and Home Farm had a habit of playing one the F A cup semi finalist in May each year and the 1951 match was against Birmingham City I was at most of those matches as that was the only time we could see English teams in Dublin ( No Sky then) I can remember Port Vale playing Shelbourne when Jimmy Hill and John Charles played for Shels English players including Stanley Matthews came to Dublin at the end of the season to supplement their income and each week exabition matches were played against visiting teams

Everton have visited Glentoran in Belfast in 1949, 1957, 1966 and 1991.

The 1949 game was a fundraiser for the Back to the Oval campaign to pay for the restoration of the Oval following its destruction in the Belfast Blitz. If anyone has a spare of this programme, I'll pay good money for it. The other three here:
