Helllo James,

Dunfermline v Spurs and
Motherwell v Spurs (both Texaco Cup)

can be found on either the Brentside website or footballprogrammes.net website, so you may wish to try this.

I hope this helps ? Please let me know.

Hello CNSOBU - Firstly I think you mean Ipswich Town !
Secondly your Nottingham Forest v Aidrie programme can be found on Ebay here :-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Texa.....E6hEBUi52g

I hope this helps ? Please let me know.

Hello David - My interest has now been rekindled for this competition so I would love to take the free programmes if they are still on offer.

Please advise, many thanks.

With the Texaco Cup and the Anglo-Scottish Cup, the next logical question to ask the forum (I suppose), is how does the Watney Cup fit into all of this ?

Sorry - found it here :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watney_Cup

off the top of my head and open to correction

70/71
Programmes exist for Derry City v Limerick, Shamrock Rovers and Wolves.
Limerick v Derry City
Ards v Shamrock Rovers (think this is the one maybe mixed up with Blaxnit)
a pirate only for Shamrock Rovers v Ards
Wolves v Derry City 2 issues

71/72
Waterford v Ballymena
Ballymena v Shamrock Rovers
Airdrie v Ballymena

Note Ballymena v Waterford may exist - I heard of one about 35 years ago but it may have been a mistake. I've never seen it.

For the North v South Irish tournaments of 73/4 & 74/5

73/4
Portadown v Shamrock Rovers
Bohs v Coleraine & Coleraine v Bohs both exist I think need to check to be sure.
Bohs v Portadown final postponed exists and a 2nd issue with the new date below the original date.
I need Portadown v Bohs and I believe it exists although I've never seen it.

74/5
Linfield v Cork Hibs exists (nothing in Cork)
Waterford v Crusaders exists. (nothing in Belfast)
Both legs of the Linfield v Waterford final exist.

Also I've never seen a 4 page wraparound Texaco cover for Derry City v Limerick. They were stapled onto the 2 Wolves issues and loose around Derry City v Shamrock Rovers and Wolves. In most cases the other 2 Derry City homes appear without the Texaco cover so maybe one exists for Limerick. My father was at both Limerick games but never got programmes.

Just found my copy of Hearts v Palace, 13th Sept 1972, Hearts won 1-0 with a gate of 9,105.

Hearts also won the 2nd leg at Selhurst by the same score.

The return leg which Hearts also won 1-0 in front of 9,855 had an identical wrap around cover with the standard (I presume) Palace cover inside, along with the Football League Review.

Sorry can't really contribute much to the club related thread, unlike my Jambo friends.

Hibs were too busy playing the likes of Juventus, Leeds, Liverpool etc in the European competitions
