Looks like the Dutch faker is at it again

Taken from Facebook

HUGE WARNING - FAKE MACCABI - CHELSEA PROGRAMMES !!
Dear collectors, since this morning I received many messages from fellow collectors to my message box on facebook & eBay , asking me about the Chelsea programme from the Champions league last night that are sold on eBay.
Maccabi Tel Aviv did not issue programmes at all in this campaign , obviously NOT in the Chelsea match as well.
Some sellers are honest and write that they are selling fake/pirate programmes from this game.
But there is a seller from Netherlands that is selling poor fakes as official programmes and he fool collectors by saying he got them from VIP zone and he already sold many for outrages prices from 25 pounds to 50 pounds.
As a reporter I attended the match and I can guarantee you that NO programmes issued ! not for media members and not in the VIP zone.
It is easy to see it's a fake, he printed the Hebrew letters upside down.. look at the picture I attach and see how Hebrew Alpha-bet looks like.
If any of you fooled by this crook , file a complaint on ebay and paypal and demand to get your money back.

I'm afraid this is the tip of a very large iceberg, the amount of Fakes/
Unofficial programmes on Ebay from British Clubs European away matches
for the 15/16 season is getting ridiculous, some are going for serious
money, the programmes would probably have never seen a football
stadium. As long as the listings state Unofficial/Pirate then buyers have
a choice. It would be a help if travelling supporters could state what
issues(if any) were available at the stadium.

I have also. If enough of us do it, Ebay might, just might, take notice.

Something seems to have worked

"This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing"

Can anyone give links to other items that need to be reported to Ebay ?

Ebay don't give a F*** just like they don't with shill bidders or people who sell stolen goods - as long as they are getting paid their fees that's all that matters to them!

I reported it when I saw the thread on Facebook - glad it’s been taken down but unfortunately it’ll carry on while there are people wanting to buy programmes from European games.

I've reported it also . To be fair, I think a few of these collectors really couldn't care less. Anything is better than a hole in a collection. But should be clearly marked pirate.
But my point is, I can't believe a club is allowed not to print a programme for a Champions league game . With the huge amount of money involved in the competition, sponsors surely could not be happy ?

Keep reporting his other fake items as well, point out to ebay that the logos he is using are copyrighted and he has no permission to use them regardless of whether he makes it clear they are unofficial or not.

Looks like they are taking it a little more seriously this time.
