After Rangers tour of the lower leagues, are there are grounds they have not visited? And of the grounds they have visited, how many were new grounds to them in competitive games?

It was, I think, Albion Rovers that lost out on the revenue. They were relegated to whatever they call the lowest division these days the same season Rangers went up.

I would have thought they'd have played at Cliftonhill at some point in the past, though.

Hibs might have something to say about Rangers' promotion prospects this season!

i would have thought Annan Athletic was new to them.
Possibly Stirling Albion's new ground, too?

Rangers met Stirling Albion in the first season, Albion Rovers missed out on a league clash with Rangers but met them in the challenge cup and got a replay in the Scottish cup, played Annan twice in the league and a friendly pre season. I think the tour of lower leagues are complete, the only clubs we haven't met in the last 5 seasons are Dundee & Ross County as far as I know.

I would doubt if Annan & Stirling are new unless we are talking about competitive matches, since 1985 Rangers have played most lower league sides in friendlies.

Surely every ground is new to them? Laughing

I was talking about non friendly games. I'm guessing Rangers will have done most of them in pre season games etc.

That's true.

You can get the full list here, there is a drop boxtop right to choose seasons.

They have played at Albion Rovers.

Willie Clark informed me that none of these two games against Albion Rovers were at their home ground, one was at Livingston, the other at Hamilton

Isn't Cliftonhill effectively a one-sided ground now? Only the main stand open to the public? Well nigh impossible to host Rangers under those circumstances.

I believe they are intending to re-open the covered terrace opposite the stand and generally renovate the ground. It should be preserved, one of the few old skool grounds left almost intact.
