I saw one of those maps on sale in a Charity shop in Stamford earlier this year. Priced at £5, if I remember correctly.

If anyone interested, I've got one for sale. Will accept £5 incl postage (to uk).

Map itself in good condition, a few nicks and scuffs to outside folder.

Fantastic map.

Had one on my wall when I was a kid. Found it again whilst having a clear out, a few years ago, had it framed and is now hanging in my office.

Well worth a fiver of anybody's money IMO

Apologies for only just replying Eck.

I have the item in my collection already, but thanks for the kind offer, please offer to the person who pm'd you first.

It's an interesting item and like a number of these sort of things from the late 1960's and 1970's, they just don't make 'me like they used to. Wink

Thanks

Paul

This has reminded me I bought e very nice reprinted version of this about 20 years ago, I think When Saturday Comes struck a deal with printers and were offering them for a few quid. So I got one and just got it out to look at it for the first time in approx 19.9 years!

So if you want an original 1970's version and see one on EBay, be careful - it may be the reprint (which, as I said, is very nice). There's no date on it and no other tell-tale signs.

Spot on, Pete!
I bought the reprint after the original, which used to hang on the wall beside my bed as a kid, finally gave way to the ravages of time.
Still got what's left of it
I reckon that and the Shoot League Ladders were responsible for me getting properly hooked on the English league set-up.

I had a couple of football maps on my wall as a kid. I cant remember if it was this one or the other, but one had Yorkshire Amateur FC listed, which intrigued me as it was the only club that I hadn't heard of

Yes, it was the Bartholomew map.
I remember because I thought exactly the same!
