Last week I picked up a few boxes of general programmes from a local auction. Nothing special, but worth a few quid.
When I was sorting through them I found some old scrapbooks and journals dating back to the early fifties. The scrapbooks show mainly FA Cup runs and have team photos and newspaper cuttings.
There are about twenty journals and cover a fans life following Arsenal at first and then completing the 92 grounds. There are match details, tickets, train tickets and his own account of the matches.
There are several letters from clubs giving details of matches from years before. (Obviously no internet back then, so pen and paper ruled!)
In the front of one of them is a newspaper report picturing the fans quest. He was a headmaster who decided one day to complete the 92 after visiting around 60 with Arsenal.
Loving going through them and seemed appropriate to share.

I tried to upload some, but system wouldn't let me.
Not put photos on here before, am I missing something obvious?

Don't think so Wiggy, but will look. They are all stuck in so would get ruined trying to take out.

I was at the Chester v Birmingham match, cold overcast day if my memory serves and a dreadful game!

Look at that attendance, I hope it was a low print run!
