Hi,

I collect Swansea City programmes in Eurpeoan competition. I only have a few to obtain.

To my understanding there were no programmes made for these matches:
MOTOR JENA AWAY
SLAVIA SOFIA AWAY
SPORTING BRAGA AWAY
VALENCIA AWAY

I do however have an unofficial version for the Valencia game.

I've been unable to get any images of the following or do currently not know if they exist:
MOTOR JENA HOME
PANATHANAIKOS AWAY
MONACO AWAY
MALMO AWAY

Could someone help and inform me if these are available or were produced?

These are the only missing to the collection.

Thanks.

Would imagine there was a programme for the home game against motor Jena. Panathanikos Monaco and Malmö all produced programmes.

Hi,

Pana did a MATZ issue, see other reply.

Monaco did a programme.

Braga did not, same as Slavia.

Jena I have to look.

Due to a strange Dutch director of the club, I am also a Swansea European collector. He got me the Pana and Monaco issues.

Valencia? Is that the one on ebay? Think it is a home match wanna be programme.

Cheers,

Glenn

Thanks All,

DySporting - PM SENT

Still sluething away with these but all your help is appreciated.

There seems to be 2 wanna be programmes out there for the Valencia away game, not sure if any of these were available in or around the ground on the game day? - (no official made), have purchased both for peanuts really, a £1-£2 each.

Definitely none officially produced for:
BRAGA away
SLAVIA SOFIA away
VALENCIA away

...and collective thoughts are that none were produced home or away for the MOTOR JENA ties. Strange that the Swans never produced a home one though? Confused Confused

Wasn't the 'home' game against Motor Jena played in Linz in Austria though, as the East Germans couln't get visa clearance to visit the UK? That was the explanation I heard before for the (probable) lack of an issue for the home leg.

hi seand

Yes, the home tie was played in the Linzer Stadion in Linz, Austria, due to the UK government refusing to issue visas to East German's at the time. It was a 5000 seater stadium and quite a few Swans fans attended. Just strange why the club never issued? Confused Confused
