Send them a message saying it's UK only, they may have family in the UK that they get items they win posted to, has happened to me a couple of times. |

I bid on UK only items from the Republic of Ireland.
If needs be I will organise receipt from a UK address but most sellers are happy to post to Ireland once I pay the extra costs.
You could insist the seller pays for international signed for special delivery to Australia.
In any case if they win you can refuse to sell the item but why not particularly if they will pay for special delivery. |

That's very true, the person in Australia may be planning a visit back home to family where they will pick up the items and bring back to Oz and save heaps on postage...I have done it myself. By the way it's not me who has bid on your item Dangerman |

if the Australians end up winning the item, send them an amended invoice with the adjusted AIRMAIL postage to Australia, and if they pay the invoice then send the item. job done.
I get international orders quite frequently. |

May I enquire as to the likely value of item being sold?
If it is of low value (say under £5) is it worth all the fuss.
Just send it !!
What`s the worst that could happen? Its not like you are doing it all the time?
Obviously, if it is of a higher value.....then charge the actual postage cost. |

Don't think that's allowed if paid with paypal . _________________ http://www.sportsattax.net/ Paypal accepted No Pies - Ticket stubs added daily |

If they win the auction, just don't post it and issue a refund. Not strictly honest but they shouldn't be bidding when it states UK only. |
