A word of warning to any Bristol City supporters out there planning to visit the great unwashed at S6 (Hillsborough) on the opening day of the season.

A mate of mine sits on the South Stand at Hillsborough when he gets chance to go with his missus and their two lads. That'll be £130 thank you.

I suspect it will be at least £42 a ticket for this fixture for away supporters to enter a stand that should have been bulldozed in 1989.

Have a nice day boys and girls.

FFS....Who wants promotion eh Confused

Not that they are alone, Ilkeston v United pre-season £15 Adult, £10 concessions and children.

£35 to watch Ilkeston in a friendly, not likely.

I have been to Penistone Church, Brigg and Stocksbridge Park Steels so far this pre-season with the little un's and its cost me £14 total for entry to those three games. I even won the raffle at Brigg Smile

How much further can the football rubber band stretch before it snaps Sherlock

Get your facts right.
Bristol City fans will be asked to pay £39 for the 1st game of the season .
Ilkeston is a tenner to stand up POTG as it was last night .
You get what you pay for in this life , hence pub league for you Stu .

£39 for lower league football, madness.

£10 for a non-league friendly, madness.

£69m for finishing bottom of the EPL, madness.

English fitba will eat itself eventually.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Afternoon Rich

(Stand seats at Ilkeston are what I quoted)

I was only the price of a mars bar out with the away ticket.

If that's the future of football in the second tier in this country its done for.

Knowing you as i do, I can only assume you were giggling and trying to keep a straight face when you wrote the bit about getting what you pay for.

That new scoreboard must have been expensive Laughing Laughing Laughing

I must say that I am shocked regarding the price increases but the supporters don't matter much anyhow to the rich owners .
As for Ilkeston , you can't beat standing up when you get the chance .
Only problem I have is with the £2 black and white programmes at Alfreton and Ilkeston again same price but slightly better .

We've suffered this year in the Western Super League with hugely inflated increases, far and away in excess - percentage wise - of those quoted at Wednesday. Ours have gone up a massive inflation busting 20% this season! How I'm going to manage I don't know. Having paid £5 last season, I'm now expected to pay £6 this season to watch Auchinleck Talbot in the very best grade of non league fitba in Scotland. It's f***ing scandalous! Laughing

I've given up on watching "league" football so next season watching my local non-league club Haringey Borough. Season ticket £46 for 23 league games.
I don't mind this level, no overcrowding, turn up 5 mins to kick off find space in car park, still get my favorite seat and no over priced match brochure.

Norwich v Palace opening day, its £45 for Palace fans. Some clubs owners think they are Barcelona it would seem.

(Palace will charge Norwich fans £32 BTW - at least we know our away end is a dump)

Virtually every Championship game is shown live somewhere in the world and it doesn't take too much nous to find an online feed of it somewhere.

If clubs are going to rip people off like this, stay at home, watch the game online and spend the money you've saved on your collection.

That'll drive prices up, drive the value of our collections up accordingly - and keep the money out of the players' agents pockets....

Nearest car park is £7 next season . Limited street parking if you arrive early enough ( usually about 10am )

Seeing these prices for championship games, I glad Pompey are in Div 2.

£10 a game for me as a season ticket holder

Every seat / stand the same price......

Lucky I'm a OAP......

I'm back to Pollok this season bus takes me door to door and I can stand to watch the match.
I can't handle sitting on those seats at Ibrox for 90 mins.
I'll go to see Rangers on my good days.
