Looking through some old signed book cuttings and found these:

Can anyone identify the England Signatures in this picture? I recognise J Dickinson and Wright but not any of the others.

Can anyone identify the Signatures in this one? I recognise Merrick but not the other two. In addition can anyone date the match etc?

Can anyone identify the additional signature in this one? I recognise Matthews and Buckingham but not the other one?

The last one is Bill Nicholson (Spurs v Stoke).

The Birmingham (Merrick) one - if you could email that to me I'll email it to my Blues contact who's sure to ID it for you.

The England one needs the line-up for the 6-3 thrashing which I'll dig out shortly. Amused by the "athletic bearing" of The Galloping Major, Puskas!

England pic - I think this is right.

This is our humbled line-up:-

Merrick
Ramsey, Eckersley
Wright, Johnston, Dickinson
Matthews, E Taylor, Mortensen, Sewell, Robb

And from that I think the sig's are

Wright, Merrick, Sewell, either Alf Ramsey or Ernie Taylor (on grass) and George Robb (at back)

Maybe someone else could confirm this. Signatures aren't my forte.
