You have a section for SCOTTISH, what about the eqivalent for IRELAND.

I'll start it with this request about players who have played for the Republic of Ireland at all levels EXCEPT FULL, but mostly Youth and Schools.

I am a statititician of my club Brighton,, with an interest in programes of their players on Intenational duty. Games at full level are easy to find out about , and who played, when and where etc, plus programme production for game at Youth and schools levels in particular are harder to find out about.

THOUGH OTHERS ARE OF INTEREST IF THEYWERE WITH BRIGHTON AT THE TIME OF APPEARANCE, MY LIST IS CHEIFLY

Mark FLEET, Alan HUGHES, Derek McGRATH, Paul McCARTHY, Ross McNALLY , Greg O'DOWD, Glen REA , Eric SAUL

Hoping someone can help please

john

John happy to support an Irish forum.

I don't know of anybody who would have the information you require on those line ups including in the FAI. I'm pretty sure the FAI don't have a means of verifying appearances. indeed they have taken on trust erroneous retrospective requests for underage caps.

In fact I reckon I could confidently state that if anybody held those kind of statistics on our underage sides I'd probably know about it. Of course people may have compiled such details regarding individual players or through Brighton or other clubs.

The players themselves or their families may be the best source of info the their cap details.

You could try a newspaper subscription to the Irish Independent archive and some lineups may be included in the 1980's but I reckon it would unreliable.

I am still looking for several of these for my collection Belfast Distillery Home programmes covering the 1954 to 57 seasons, if anyone can help.

Thanks.
