I'm not an expert but I believe they are produced every FAC final for the VIP's

When it started ??

But pompey had one for 1939 final......

there have always been Royal Box editions without the adverts but what you are describing ie hardback editions are modern programmes "knocked up" as you put for programme fairs and are just an ordinary programme put in a binder purely for commercial sale

They look nice enough on a bookshelf but not for the purist

The selling price varies considerably from the "what i'd like for one" to "what i'd take for one" as there are as many around as you need

no what you are asking about is a normal match day programme stuck into a binder after the game by a professional binder but not used at the game
