Has the website always looked like this with the (new) North West Programmes title? |

Is this the same organisation that "manufactured" the 1977 European Cup Final programme and later proceeded to reprint it ad infinitum.?!!
Were they not also responsible for some MUFC 60's issues? Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Milan spring to mind.
Have never given them the time of day since they ripped me off with a bogus copy of St Etienne V Liverpool in 1977. |
Manchester Programme Shop was located in Moss Side near City's old Maine Road from the very early 1960's run by Eddie Philips-yes he did re-print may items and was also responsible for bringing in european items from the late 1950's, had a shop as i say that sold Pre-War United for £2!! early 1960's.
He moved to a Newsagents in Didsbury where he ran a mail order business some 25 years or so ago selling modern programmes and souvenirs.
His son also has a newsagents shop in Altrincham where he runs the current operation.
Eddie was sharp as a tack and saw the potential years before others.
I have had no dealings with the Altrincham outlet so i cannot comment.
Just some further background info.

Don't expect anything to arrive quickly, if my experience is anything to go by, though I've not had any other problems with them. |

Wow mostly negative. They say they have an eBay store called Manchester Souvenir Centre but I couldn't find it to gage feedback? |

Only dealt with them once, but won't be dealing again. After 3 weeks programme never arrived and no reply from my emails.I opened a dispute case with paypal within 30 minutes I got a reply saying my programme had been despatched but if I closed the case he would send another straight away, which I never did A day later they paid and the case was closed...but I've still not got the money in my account as it's still pending.I contacted paypal again who informed me Manchesterprogrammes don't have enough funds in their paypal account to pay me,and are trying to get it through the bank.
For a so called big dealer to have no money in their PayPal account doesn't look good. |
