Here we go again

Sportingolds January 2015 now on line and it has the usual items to spill your blood on.
Pre first world war England Internationals at Middlesbrough and Chelsea
1973 European Cup Final
1934 and 1950 World Cup items
A bunch of Manchester United postponed,a 1920's United home and a Manchester United programme that i believe has never been to auction,as far as i am aware(The United v Pacific Coast All Stars)

Get ready for the the "too expensive" and "you'll never get your money back" from the underbidders

Party time
Shocked Shocked

It is not where you start but where you end up that is important.

408 FA CUP SEMI FINAL SPECIAL ISSUE Manchester Utd v Derby County 13th March 1948. Ex Serviceman's rare issue, team changes with light stain. Fair-generally good

If Leslie or Ray read this - do either of you have this up on your Flickr site? If so, could you post a link either on here or by PM?
I would be interested in having a look at it before I make any bid.

well it's an exciting week for Manchester United collectors

What with the Burnley v United cup programme on ebay plus the rocking horse items on offer at Sportingold and the eagerly awaiting catalogue about to be released by Sporting Memory's with 1909 autographs where should we spend our hard earned?

Ray your making us all envious with all this talk of big money.
My game is to buy cheap and sell for a lot.

Ask a well known forum member who provided me with money for a brand new car.
Or the House clearance bloke who sold me four Pre War cup Finals in the 1920s for £200 just before Christmas.
He provided me and my loved one with a 2 week Luxury cruise and £1,000+ spending money.

No interest for me at Sportingold got them all rememeber "Bosh Bosh Loadsamoney" same at Sporting Memory nothing of interest and i do not need another set of 1909 signatures-seems like auld Treble is getting his thong in a twist in anticipation-still as he is the unofficial press officer for the trade then if that gives him something to do telling us mere mortals what's coming up next , it keeps him off the streets, how else can he as the self proclaimed biggest manchester united collector and collection in the world not be listened too? Bow respect MF respect!

hehe

already did that 15 years ago and i aint doin it again until it suits me if i do it at all.
anyway how did you know i was moving to a tip in Rochdale?, just needs about 48 quid spendin on it and it will b alright, the problem is the moat-drainage is crap still it will keep out the hawkers and peddlars but if u want to visit Bazza like before give me some advanced notice so we can lower the drawbridge as the ropes are a bit nackered. Well my collection is always for sale providing you have enough readies.
You would need silly money though

I have nobody to hand my collection down to
The kids don't have the slightest interest and the wife has made it very clear she will happily sell the lot
She says she will get two rooms back in the house and also won't have to pay any bank to look after the gear that is in the bank for safety

So when you hear that i've popped my clogs(many i am sure would like that to be tomorrow!) you can form an orderly queue outside the house and you can deal directly with my current wife

Equally moving to Brazil, loke Gordon, and starting to collect maraca's instead of pieces of paper, does have a certain appeal
